“The Community belongs to the Virgin Mary.”
This assertion by the mystic Marthe Robin invites us to study more closely the mystery of Mary. In her very being, Mary reveals to us the mystery of an already transfigured humanity. She intercedes for us, so that the heart of man may at last conceive its hidden vocation as a creature born out of love and for love. She is our model of the creature’s intimate union with the Creator.
A Marian spirituality is not the only defining piece of our spirituality. We intend, however, to allow Our Lady to play an important role in our hearts and Community. She is our life’s model and our Mother who teaches us to live according to the Beatitudes. We desire to relate to her in both communal and personal ways and to let her be the guardian and queen of our Community.
Following the example of St. Louis-Marie Grignon de Montfort, we start each day by consecrating ourselves to the Virgin Mary. We also express our devotion to Our Lady through daily recitation of the Rosary and other devotions.

“True devotion to Mary consists in doing all things with Her, in Her, through Her, and for Her.”
St. Louis-Marie Grignon de Montfort

Consecration to Our Lady
by Saint Louis-Marie de Monfort

I choose you this day, O Mary, for my Mother and my Queen.
I deliver and consecrate to you,
as your slave,
my body and soul,
my goods, both interior and exterior,
and even the value of all my good actions,
past, present, and future;
leaving to you the entire and full right of disposing of me,
and all that belongs to me,
without exception,
according to your good pleasure,
for the greater glory of God,
in time and in eternity.
