Located just 15.5 miles northwest of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the village of Medjugorie is universally known as a Marian shrine and a place of prayer.

A few memebers of the Community of the Beatitudes have been present here since 1989, in a private capacity. They help notably at daily Masses in German and French.
