Close to the Ocean, where skippers set to sail the Vendée-Globe race, the Diocese Center – Relais Pascal, is where sessions and retreats are organized to welcome individuals and groups. Recently, the Diocese has started construction works to accommodate more visitors in a peaceful, more comfortable and relaxing prayer conducive setting.

The Beatitudes Community has been set in Sables d’Olonne since 1999. Members of the Community live there and liven up the Spiritual center. While undertaking the mission received from the Vendée Diocese, the Community also welcomes- even offers companionship to- people in a family-friendly environment where they can partake in liturgy celebrations and life in the Holy Spirit.

Two weeks a year, via the “Ocean and Sea” Association, the Center offers an opportunity to live on a sailing ship and experience combining the practice of sailing navigation techniques with prayer life in a fraternal atmosphere.
