Divine Mercy

Budapest, Hungary

Our Community has been in the center of Budapest in the Perpetual Adoration Church since 2006.

The church was built in 1907 and since that time adoration has not ceased even during the communist regime.

For the love of Jesus, who lives among us, we would like to answer through prayer, acts of service and apostolic work. All three branches of our community is present: one priest, six sisters and nine laity members. With our outside members, the Friends of the Lamb we form the Spiritual Family of the Beatitudes. Many other friends also visit our house on a regular basis and we do our apostolic service together.

Our work is far-reaching. We prepare people for the holy sacraments (Catechumanate, marriage preparation group), spiritual guidance, organizing spiritual retreats, listening and helping conversations, organizing spiritual days and prayer nights. A few of us teach theology, serve the poor, and lead prayer groups, prayer schools, biblical workshops.

If you are in Budapest, stop by. Jesus is waiting for you in the Perpetual Adoration church.
