Okolicné lies in the picturesque landscape near the Vah River among the Tatras mountains of northern Slovakia.

Since 1997, the Community has been living in a former 14th-century Franciscan monastery. Our house of “Mary Queen of the Angels” is a spiritual center welcoming people from throughout the country all year round.

They come to spend quiet time with God in communion with our brothers and sisters, following retreats with various themes. The monastery is small, but we’ve remodeled all the interior to make it hospitable.

Since the building cannot accommodate our larger family gatherings, we organize them in the countryside or the mountains.

We offer a variety of spiritual talks according to the requests from parishes, fraternities, or prayer groups.
