Deep in the forest of Sologne, in the Loir-et-Cher area, Nouan-le-Fuzelier is located 40kms south of Orléans.

The Beatitudes Community settled in 1983 at “Domaine de Burtin”, following on the premises the Dominican Sisters of Bethany, in order to open a center for spiritual retreats. The Community has built a church and has also extended its capacity in terms of housing. Spiritual retreats are given for all: families, youth and young adults and any group willing to live a time of spiritual refreshment are welcome.

In this place, the Community also holds the head office of the publishing house “Editions des Béatitudes”, the mail order selling “Maria Multi Média”, and the Lazare bookstore.
